FAQs
I’ve been offered a temporary contract through G4S Policing Solutions, what do I need to do now?
The first step is to ensure that you have completed and returned our compliance documentation. Secondly, you need to inform us of which Umbrella or Limited Company you will be using as a payment vehicle. Once this is confirmed your contracts/timesheets will be sent to you in the post.
I have a number of questions regarding my contract, who should I speak to?
Your first point of contact should always be the consultant or resourcer that you have been dealing with on your particular contract. If he or she is not available, please ask to speak to a team leader who will be able to resolve your query.
How does the timesheet process work?
At the beginning of your contract you will be issued with enough timesheets for the duration of your contract. You need to complete these weekly and have them signed by your line manager at the end of each month. You will also be provided with a payroll calendar which explains when you need to submit your signed timesheet to be included in the month’s payroll.
G4S Policing Solutions must stress that it is your responsibility to have the signed timesheet with us in time for the payroll; timesheets which are late cannot be processed until the following month’s payroll.
I have a query regarding my pay, who should I speak to?
The first point of contact for pay queries should be your Umbrella or Limited Company as they are responsible for processing your pay. Should they not be able to help, please escalate to your contact at G4S Policing Solutions who should be able to resolve the matter.
My contract is coming to an end, what happens next?
As you near the end of your contract, G4S Policing Solutions will be speaking to the client involved to see if there is a need to extend it further. If this is the case and it fits in with you own personal requirements, we will issue you a contract extension for the next period. If not, G4S Policing Solutions will be actively searching for a new position for you, should you wish us to do so
